This piece features four drummers playing together, against each other, and as soloists.

RumbaKo (pronounced "room-bah-ko")
This song takes rhythms from Cuba (the RUMBA) and Japan (the taiKO). When these two cultures fuse in the United States they create RumbaKo!

Iruka (pronounced "ee-du-kah")
The word "iruka" in Japanese means "dolphin". This song is about a journey through water.

KinMoku (pronounced "keen-moh-koo")
"Kin" means "metal. "Moku" means "wood". Listen to the instruments in this song and guess if one is made out of metal or wood.
